Last week we crossed the midpoint of this session, focused on Entrepreneurship. Elementary learners have thought through the colors and logo for their business, made a list of things they will need to acquire, and decided whether to ask for a loan.
At Acton Academy Lakewood, there is a time for everything, so the buzz of building a business comes amidst the regular routines of exercise, Socratic conversations, moving up levels in core subjects like reading, writing, and math, spending time outside, and taking care of the studio.
These learners are building habits of a balanced life that will serve them well into adulthood.
